How to schedule an appointment

  1. Call the provider directly to set up an appointment. To locate a provider in your area please use Find a Provider.
  2. Please say you want to use your employee assistance program benefit through WellSpan EAP.
  3. You will be asked for your name, address, phone number, a description of the issue, and the name of the employer providing your EAP. Be assured that this information will be kept confidential. Your employer will not know you are seeking services.

You do not need medical insurance to use your WellSpan EAP benefit. However, if you do have medical insurance you will be asked for your insurance information. This will enable you to be scheduled with a provide who accepts your plan, if you decide to continue with counseling after using your free EAP sessions.

WellSpan EAP does not issue authorization numbers for services. However, if the provider asks for an authorization number or needs to confirm the number of sessions available, please have them call WellSpan EAP directly at 1-800-673-2514.
